Simon Davani - tell us about what you do as the Development Manager at Zimply.

I'm stepping into my second year here and have transitioned from being an Intelligent Automation Developer to a Development Manager. It's an exciting journey to be a part of, where each day presents new challenges and opportunities.

As a leader, what do you value most?

Creating an environment where everyone feels safe and inspired is key. I strongly believe in orderliness - having clear structures and standards in place so that creativity can flow freely.

What's at the top of your agenda right now?

We're in the midst of an exciting phase of recruitment. Finding the right people - those who not only can code but also have a passion for the significant customer benefits automation brings, is my top priority right now.

Tell us a bit about yourself outside of work.

My family is my world. My partner and I live with our two young children in Solna. Finding the balance between work and family life is important to me, and I strive to have as much time as possible together with them. I also appreciate the occasional after-work get-together with colleagues.

If you had a completely free day to yourself, how would you spend it?

A visit to a spa would be perfect. I'm from Malmö, and sometimes I miss the proximity to the sea. Being able to relax with a swim, a sauna, and perhaps some time at the gym is something I could definitely consider.

What do you appreciate most about working at Zimply?

The culture here is fantastic. Everyone is so engaged and willing to think outside the box. Being part of a team that genuinely cares about making a difference and simplifying other people's work lives is incredibly rewarding.
