AI complements most jobs
AI complements - rather than replaces - jobs. This is the conclusion drawn by researchers in a new study from the UN agency International Labour Organization (ILO).
It is no doubt that intelligent automation and artificial intelligence are changing the workplace and jobs. However, the big question that many are asking is whether jobs will be replaced by this new technology and robots. ILO's study, however, confirms what we at Zimply, and many companies that use AI, have also discovered - that it complements and improves both work and operations. This is achieved by automating the most monotonous and time-consuming tasks, thus freeing up space and energy for other important tasks.
People enhance jobs with AI - not the other way around.
The authors emphasize that the effects of the AI transformation are not predetermined and that it is humans who control the development. However, it must always be done responsibly with the involvement of those affected. And Zimply agrees: it is people who enhance jobs with the help of AI - not the other way around.
