When Svea Bank began exploring the possibilities of AI Automation, the objective was clear: to streamline an administrative task long regarded as time-consuming and unpopular. The result was “Robbie” – an AI assistant developed together with Zimply – now an integral part of operations at Svea Bank.
Together with Zimply, an AI assistant has been developed to handle incoming invoices with incorrect addresses — a task that previously required extensive manual intervention and often created an administrative bottleneck

Challenge
With a volume of approximately 1,500 cases per week, the previous process placed a heavy administrative burden on the organization. Invoices arrived in various formats and required manual sorting, interpretation, and handling. Quickly identifying cases, stopping reminders and debt collection actions, and finding the correct address to resend invoices was both time-consuming and resource-intensive.
Solution
Zimply’s AI assistant now analyzes each incoming invoice, determines the required actions, and executes them automatically. “Robbie” then provides a report detailing what has been completed and what may require approval from an authorized employee.
Result
Today, that challenge has largely been eliminated. “Robbie,” affectionately referred to as “he” by colleagues, works around the clock, 365 days a year. The AI assistant saves more than 6,000 working hours per year – and continues to deliver value every day.

The AI implementation saves up to ten working hours per day compared to manual processing. However, the primary value goes beyond efficiency gains.
